Favorite music besides minimal

Post by Decepto »

Hi everyone,

Just curious, what does everyone listen to when they aren't listening to dance music?

Personally, I like classic or progressive rock, a la The Mars Volta or Led Zeppelin. But I grew up in Detroit around a lot of hip hop, so I'll always have a soft spot for hip-hop and blues.

a lot of stuff too!

I just looooove Dream Theater (progressive rock / symphonic metal).. Got 14 cd's, 3 dvd's, went to a few concerts, etc....

I also very much love Sarah McLachlan... Great voice, one of the best in my opinion...

Mostly free improv, field recordings, noise, sometimes jazz, and occasionally hip-hop/rock groups.
