It will definitly be no Detroit Artist for the 2nd one.
This would be to close to the 1st Issue.
Next pioneer will be an european Artist.
It´s not really easy to do a documentary and to find archive material.
Some Artists don´t have any old pictures / videos or don´t wanna show them and some people are too shy for the camera and to do interviewa.
so there are lots of reasons why some things will not happen.
Maybe we do a different Slices Special before, so it´s not 100% sure that there will be a 2nd part of pioneers this year - will see.
Nothing sure right now!

Do one on Papa Sven. Watching him and his cocoon antics would be like watching a new Hunter S. Thompson adventure, but really gay and really german.

Sven Väth or Laurent Garnier would be cool in my opinion.
Also Mr C going back to his young days would be funny

It will be not Sven Väth and not Laurent Garnier, he also released a book not long ago where you can read a lot about him. ;-)
Funny that you all name the usual suspects, even if they are more DJ Legends then pioneers of electronic music.
What about LFO, Basic Channel, KLF, The Orb, Autechre, Aphex Twin, Brian Eno or some Chicago Guys like Phuture / DJ Pierre ......?
There are much more if you think a bit deeper.
Of course it´s not possible to do documentarys about most of this guys but there are more outside on The Electronic Planet.
