Line-Up:

FABRICE LIG (FCOM, KANZLERAMT, PLAYHOUSE)

Fabrice Lig is considered by his peers & techno fans around the globe as a world class producer. He is well known for his particularly funky use of Rolands sh101 analog synth, and for his particularly emotional and personal melodies and harmonies.
There is no doubt that after more than 10 years of teaching himself production processes, complex midi programming and harmonies, Fabrices sound is unique and recognisable among the thousands of weekly techno releases.
Demonstrations of these skills appear on the crème de la crème of techno labels such as KMS (Kevin Saunderson) & 7th City Records (Dan Bell) from Detroit, F-Communications (Laurent Garnier) from Paris, Raygun Records from Hamburg, Playhouse Records from Offenbach and most recently on the finest Berlin-based label, Kanzleramt (Heiko Laux).
By the end of 1998, after his first DJ and production experiences, under the Interwaves and Bug Orchestra nicknames, Fabrice was elevated to the ranks of the Detroit musical elite by Mad Mike himself, thanks to his classic remix of E-Dancers Banjo track on KMS: Fabrice is a part of Detroit music's history by being the first white producer to record on KMS, and the first double groove recording from NSC.
Since then, Fabrices career regularly draws the attention of the international Techno community, thanks to a series of critically acclaimed releases. Fabrice has built a solid discography and reputation, confirmed by his reknowned appearances at the worlds best clubs & festival line ups.

TRISH VAN EYNDE (F... U! FCOM, MINIMAXIMA)

At 19, Trish started mixing and had her own radioshow. That there were no female dj's around did not cross her mind, even less as to why there were none. The only thing that mattered was that this was her thing and she loved it. She still does !
The now legendary Fuse-club, located in Brussels, gave her the breakthrough . Jan Van Den Bergh, a friend and one of the people behind Buzz Records and « Relics » introduced her to Peter who is the man behind « I love Techno ». A few months later, she became resident dj . This gave her the opportunity to work with a lot of big names in the business. Here's a few : Kirk De Giorgio, Dave Angel, Carl Craig, Luke Slater, Dan Curtin, Dave Clarke, Juan Atkins, Slam, Hell, Derrick May, Claude Young, … She still held a daytime job managing her own label « Generations ». but after more than a year, she decided to dedicate herself entirely to dj-ing and later on : producing.
A second residency at the acclaimed Food Club was added to her activities. She became widely regarded as the Belgian Leading Lady of Techno.

FRANCO CANGELLI (AESTHETIK, SUSHITECH, TOYS FOR BOYS)

Born and raised in Gent, Belgium with a pair of firm Italian roots. Spent his childhood dreaming of interstellar voyage, alien invasion and skies filled with colony spaceships side effects of a daily overdose of television-infused sci-fi images.
He first came in contact with electronic music in his childhood, right in the middle of the breakdance craze, backspinnin', body poppin', to the electro boogie of Grandmaster Flash, Africa Bambaataa, Jonzun Crew... Needless to say, he got infected by the electro bug at an early age. By the end of the 80's, Belgium came under the New Beat spell, which opened up an entirely new world, directly followed by the first insidious acid tunes. Franco has always been influenced by the more atmospheric, either moody or darker tunes. So when Detroit techno arrived at the scene, his mind completely absorbed the deeper techno vibes from artists like Carl Craig, Juan Atkins, Dan Curtin... But it didn't stop there. AFX, Autechre and other seminal artists who pushed the envelope even more, irrevocably shaped his mind to the more experimental side of electronic music, coming from labels like Warp, Skam, Rephlex...
All of these influences define what Franco Cangelli is musically all about. His djing skills and production work cover different styles to satisfy his incessant need for further musical exploration. As a dj, he can spin dark and minimal electro, experimental electronica, deep detroitish techno, minimal techno, clickhouse and Chicago house. But his favourite spinning style at the moment is minimal and Detroit techno.
A typical minimal set for him includes dysfunctional melodies, jacking beats, relentless bleeps and clicks spiced up with some deep Detroit techno, acidic tunes and experimental techno.
As a producer, his production is aimed at channeling deep emotional content through deep detroitish and minimal techno, experimental or dark electronica, or any other style that suits its purpose. He released his first ep, called Spectre on the Belgian imprint Toys For Boys in 2005 and has more slick releases planned on the London Sushitech label (www.sushitech.com) and Aesthetik Records which he runs with Dj Akî. His releases are charachterized by a blend of old skool influences and more challenging technoid sounds.

DJ AKI (AESTHETIK, TOYS FOR BOYS)

Polyglot and inquisitive Akî definitely likes to gum the borderlines... His dj-sets evolve through waves of various electronic music styles such as dub, trip-hop, electro-pop and electronica but neatly tied together with solid minimal-techno and house of German origin.
In 2000, he begins his studies of Art & Communication in Liège. One year later he throws his first party in Liège with Jonas Bering and Tobias Thomas known from the Kompakt label. In 2002, he finishes his studies and develops with some friends the Alter_Native Attack multi-artistic performing group in Liège. Shortly thereafter he leaves to Quebec for two months in order to get more knowledge about electronic music.
By joining the Toys For Boys crew in 2005, Akî deals with artists such as Franco Cangelli, Bern, Pheek, Miguel Tutera, Karri O. and Tom Dazing. Meanwhile he launches a free monthly party called Déclic in his hometown Liège and starts a residency at the P3P parties in Brussels. Nowadays he’s busy on Aesthetik records, a new techno label he has launched with Franco Cangelli.

OZKA (AESTHETIK, RELOAD, ROTATION)

Ozka (previously DJ Kaoz) aka David Nizet, from the South-East of Belgium was immediately drawn to the deep sound of Motor City Detroit and Chicago jackin' beatz which clearly influenced his production work and dj-ing. End of the 90’s he joins the “6th Sense” crew from Liège and collaborates in various productions with Sammy Goossens (Toys For Boys) and Billy Boy (Ex-Nihilo) under the moniker "6th Sense Approach", had releases on Reload and Dave Angel's Rotation (under a one shot "David K" moniker with Luc Laret and Sammy Goossens). His own production work also caught the attention of Mille Plateaux and Mosaic.
David is also no stranger to the experimental side of electronic music, having released on labels such as Filament Recordings and TIBProd where he had various Mp3 and cdr releases. His productions are heavily influenced by the Detroit sound and solidly groove between melodic work and minimal structures.
As a dj, he played at places such as Silo, La Chapelle, Pacific/Extra, Club 58 (Luxemburg), Montini, Extreme, Soundstation, Gazometer Rave (Vienna),...alongside people like Trish, Kenny Hawkes, Blake Baxter, Mark NRG, Acid Kirk, Fabrice Lig, Rolando, Suburban Knight, Paul Cooper, Mark Broom, Phil Quenum,...
