“Gesprech” is a mysteriously playful piece as well as being every bit as deep, funky and slightly dark. One of those heady songs you hear during the very late hours which completely takes over your body and lets you fall into its aural grasps and move with it. Jeff Samuel is brought in to remix “Gesprech” and takes things to a more driving space with a focus on hypnotic repetition and tripped out editing.
“Beat You” is a slushy and wet spaced out funk driven track with a warped vocal who’s effects sound, similar to the vocal effects used in Radiohead’s ‘Everything in its Right Place’, is hypnotic and driven to grab ahold of many a brain to the pleasure of many seeking very late night escapades into the mind. “Polikolique” is massively deep with many wonderfully strange sounds and piano chords to drive your head deeper and deeper yet into night time madness and delight.
