Maayan Nidam, also known as Miss Fitz was born in Tel Aviv. After
having lived in Amsterdam for a while she moved to Berlin three
years ago. This was also the place where she first met Shaun Reeves.
Shaun originally hails from Motorcity Detroit, but he also moved to
Berlin three years ago. Maayan started producing her own music in
1999. Two years later she also started working as a DJ. Shaun started
producing music four years ago and this EP for raum is the first
release both of them have worked out together. Even though you can
describe their music with the word "minimal",
the tracks always catch you especially with their warm, punchy
sound that is definately more based in house.
