i cannot afford soundforge, etc. as of now...what about using soundgrinder (or any other recommends) to downsample? i rendered the final track in ableton @ 32/96000 wav, now i want to convert to 320kbps mp3. by the way, all the levels sound pretty good- i eq'ed it pretty much by ear.
cheers!

and...
i did use "soundgrinder", "audiofinder", and "itunes" to convert my ableton wav to a 320kbps mp3 file. the sound is crisp *but* it sounds a LOT quieter than other tracks that i have in my music folder. for instance: stereo volume is 20 (for other tracks) and 45 (for my track). does my track have to be much louder in ableton before i render. it sounds loud through the headphones but, again, after i render and convert to mp3 it is quiet.
