VST Plugins

Post by Zinthek »

So I installed a VST Plugin in my Ableton. But when I open it it doesn't seem to generate any sound. I just put the .DLL file in my plugins folder like I'm supposed to. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?

i've had this happen to me with several plug ins. usually it is because i have a hacked version of the plug in and sometimes they just don't work.

Virtual Studio Technology and its acronym VST refer to an interface standard for connecting audio synthesizer and effect plugins to audio editors and hard-disk recording systems. VST and similar technologies allow the replacement of traditional recording studio hardware with software counterparts.
