Timewarp was the wrong Place to Start as Plastikman (better he was playing as a DJ), because all people want to dance and i heard the same, much people (only knowing "Riche Hawtin") running out the hall, because its for Listening, not for Dancing.

It was a (visual) show like Kraftwerk.

I don't get it why Time Warp wasn't a good place to have the show because the people don't know Plastikman? There are enough room and big names on Time Warp to check out if they don't like Plastikman.

It's not because some people don't know his Plastikman alter ego that he should follow the crowd and play the same stuff as always. And show his Plastikman concept only for a few arty farty people.

then those people should get their mdma out of their ears and make some effort to check something out of their usual habitat. "Shouldn't", "wrong",... yuk. I think one of the fun things about music is that you can pretty much do what you like... if those people didn't like it, they should just go to another room (or stop listening to the 1500000th "mannheim sound" wannabe house tune of the night).

sorry I am not following you here.. I don't think Timewarp was a bad place , I rather think that there were too much hipsters that are just about richie because they can id tracks and are not really interested in the art whatever he does and too much people on E basically!

dont forget, timewarp is a big techno event, electronic music for the "masses".

and it think plastikman (sound) is not for the masses.

the hipsters running to this yearly event every year.

you see only the same big names every year on timewarp. sven väth, richie hawtin, magda etc. pp, its made for the masses.

and the kids/ravers dont want to "watch", they only want to dance off and party, thats it.

much people dont go to this place, because the last years, too many "hipsters" want only big names and their stuff.

and richie was playing the last years as a dj, the masses only knowing him playing records.

the fact is, many people leaving the hall while the plastikman show.
