Really, really nice man!!

This is the sort of stuff I wish I could make... (I know I can, I just haven't found the damn formula... :) )

Not too percussive for me at all!

You've got a nice loud mixdown happening here. It would sound really nice if your off beat high hat was shifted everso slightly behind the beat on the 2's and 4's. It would really emphasize the chuggidy (lol) nature of your drum patterns.

I agree with a few others that you really need a lead melody line to drive the track forward. It would also give the track a bit more character (ie i think it would be more memorable.)

3/4s of the way in theres that drop out in the groove for a second. I thought my mp3 stream F'ed up, but it actually in the track. I'm not sure what you're going for there.

The mix sounds good dude. All the elements have their space and work well together.

There is no groove yet :-)

You should add a lil very lil reverb on the master and add a sub. Dont like the bassline at all. It's just boring for me.

Worth finishing!!

Post by eatme »

This track is worth finishing.

The reversed mid-tone which takes every 2 last beats after the break
should be removed or changed to more effected [flanged phased]
and there should be either appreggiated mid/hi tones [duda or blipblip]
or a bass tone on every 1/2 beat to fatten up the track. [boo-homp boo-homp]. Also I found the removal of delay on the bass before
the break a bit too much; maybe you should increment the delay on
some other sounds when you remove it from the bass. I understand
that you want to clear the sound a bit before the break but it takes
the swing out too early. Nice track. Rate now: 7.3 / 10 . Can easily
grow out to a 8.5 track.

Buy!

...it reminds me John Gaiser's tracks --> balance between electro-tech and tekkno minimal but u need to fix something couse your production sounds a little bit asexual

I like the drummy vibe of this track; though I think the first break came in too early. Also the track didn't really go anywhere, just grooved along (which is ok, but it would be nice if there were some more development along the way).
