How do you organize, backup your computer datas ?

Don't bother with RAID. It only protects against hardware failiure not data corruption.

I use a external hard drive and backup using Time Machine on osx.
It really easy...
Thats all you will need!

and remember to store your really important stuff on a drive outside of your home. Backing your data up across several hard drives is worthless if they all burn in a house fire.

Granted, if you lose everything in a house fire your mp3 collection might not be your greatest concern.

That's true, maybe for really important things, use an online backup service, they are quite cheap now a days.

www.mozy.com is recommend.

As long as my data exists in more than one place I am happy. I just have a second Hard drive on my desktop system which I copy everything to it about once a week. The chances of two hard drive failing at the same time are extremely slim.

That's true, but as hotlatino808 writes, it's of no need if there's a fire at your place :?
