hello everyone! this is my blog... i could see it get hits from this happy little corner of the internet, so thanks to everyone who has tuned in from here.

i'm really happy smear decided to share his mix through my blog. my own style and tastes are rooted in and still tends towards the more minimal/ambient/deep side of dance music, but lately the noisy, visceral sounds of artists like smear and forward strategy group have really appealed to me, so it was especially interesting to chat with smear about his noise-music background. one friend called this set "fucking haunting", another one called it challenging and i definitely agree.... it's so goddamn insistent in its insanity.

anyway, feel free to check out the other anatomy mixes. i only ask a select few artists, and so far i think they've all responded with excellent contributions. there should be more soon; the next mixer and i are trying to coordinate a live video broadcast from the moon for anatomy 05...
