new macbook air - for djs ?

a macbook should be ok for playing a live set. the only problem with the macbook is no firewire.

i'm guessing apple will release new macbook's and macbook pro's either next month or january.

the 2010 versions were rumored to appear on Q1 (or my memory plays tricks) but actually were released in april, so...
those fuckers added 2.8 i7 now, would've ordered it right away. Damn I hate this update policy.
