Firstly I'd like to say that it is defintiely not our intention to 'Spam' the forum with useless advertising info. Yes we are advertising our course, but we feel that this may be of genuine interest to the users of the forum and that all the discussion generated from such a thread can be used to further develop our services to cater to your needs.

Secondly, it appears that the price we charge for the course is the most contentious issue and on this I'd like to say that we do feel the price we charge is a fair and genuine one. The reason for this is that our course is unique in the fact that you gain 1-2-1 time and attention from a successful professional producer. Your money is going towards having a pro producer go through your tracks and projects making tweaks/changes and advising on what could be improved and how you can do so.

You can check out this video from a tutor going through a student's track in the final week of the course and giving his personalised feedback/advise:

Please keep the comments coming as we strive to take all feddback on board and answer all questions/enquiries.

Many thanks for reading,

Luke (Point Blank Music)

ok guys obviously this course isn't going to be for everyone but it could be useful for a few of you. but i think you would be better off doing a general production course and getting a wider range of skills.

personally i'd rather spend the money on a new synth.

Yeah I see where your coming from...and we do have general production courses, sound design courses, mixing and mastering courses and courses in a variety of DAWs.

You can check out the full range of courses available here:

http://www.pointblankonline.net/courses/

The reason I was posting for this Minimal Production Course was because this course caters for producers who already have a certain degree of experience, which I thought would be the case with the users of the forum.

But for those who are starting out we also have an Introduction to Production Course: http://www.pointblankonline.net/ableton ... oducer.php OR http://www.pointblankonline.net/logic-m ... course.php

And for those at an advanced level we have courses in Mixing and Mastering: http://www.pointblankonline.net/mixing-dance-music.php

As well as Sound Design: http://www.pointblankonline.net/sound-design-course.php

Hope that shows a bit more depth to what we do..and please keep the feedback/comments coming!

Thanks,

Luke (Point Blank)
