they're not very to the point
lot of trial and error from the demo stuff, personally I wouldn't pay for going on the trial vids

if you dont care too much about things appearing 'pro' and looking slick then i would say that the cosm vids are well worth it. yeah, you have to sit through him going off on tangents and stuff but i actually enjoy that and it's cool just watching him piece things together, working things out as he goes along. that itself is educational and, much more realistic than a "here's one i prepared earlier!" type scenario. it's great to see how someone else works at such an intimate level.
the actual synth programming is really quite interesting too. he makes some nice sounds.
for $10 measly bucks you can't really go wrong.
and his free ones are full of nice tips too.
