I'm of mixed opinion on this ( nothing to do with whatever was wrote in that magazine ) Just about copying people in general. I think if you are just starting out, you may benefit from it. I think it's good to have a point of reference during a learning curve, from that stems ideas and creativity - but like I say, I am of mixed opinion, I can also see the other side.

I also got the magazine but there is nothing news in it

Interesting thing is that it's a form of training. Every beginner painter has to learn to reproduce a copy of their favourite painting. It's an exercise.
nothing wrong with it. You learn by mimicking, even socialisation works that way.
