thats cool i think i ll go with the audio 8 for producing/dj-in as it comes with the scratch anyway...

i am on a low budget and it seems to be the right one then

glitches too here , nothing from the forums/tools seems to work D'oh

I own the AK1 too, and i get the same problems. Its very annoying. And its gotten to the point where there is the crackling in the right speaker coming from ports 1/2 is so bad i cant even do any work. I usually have to switch it off for a while or route it through my internal soundcard.
Ports 3/4 always show as inactive in my DAW, so i can never use them. I bought this when they first came out, they may be better now but i doubt it.

I have the AK1 too, no glitches here. It does the job correctly and isn't very expensive.

i bought the audio 8 dj originally with traktor scratch, but nowadays i use it more for ableton live, i think its a great card, not that ive had much experience with anything else.

my buddy bought it as well.

4 outs is great when you wanna dj with ableton and a 4 channel mixer.

I have one AK1 and run it in XP and Win 7 without problem at all.
Used live with Traktor and MixMeister.
No crakling as reported above.
Using VAIO VGN-CR220 and Gateway laptops.
