oh yeah... and just use one note and play it manually! try that for starters... then move to two or 3 notes...

if you've ever seen a bass player play in a band... this is very common for those sick basslines!

Its one area I still get problems with, trying to get that final bit of subby bass extension that a professional sounding track has that gives the bass real depth but without turning the track into a mess.

Get PSP vinatge warmer, push up the drive on the lows and have it set to 20% wet, thattl get you close....
