[unfound35] tleilaxu - sleepercel
download here: http://www.unfoundsoundrecords.com/unreleases
nearly three years after the release of indisguise (unfound04), philadelphia’s tleilaxu makes a refreshing comeback with a new ep that was a long time in the making. on solarium, you get a whopping six tracks – four originals and two remixes. tleilaxu’s tracks delve blissfully into deep and heady terrain – meanwhile sustaining a groove that gently merges idm-ish experimentalism, microhouse and dub. each tune coincides brilliantly with any morning sunrise – carved with meticulous precision, organic vigor, and doused with self-made field recordings, chopped-up voices, atmospheric melodies, subby basslines, clicky percussion, cleansing reverbs and mesmerizing delays – all the while, maintaining a minimal ambiance while being lushly dense at the same time. you also get a slow and twisted minimal house remix courtesy of marseille’s sam & dave & lowran, plus a deep and groovy tech-house rework by london’s marc ashken of leftroom fame. so go on! taste the rising sun while your head bobbles in outer space.
