Usually a lineup this intense can only be found after 3am, pressed into the dark crevices of a filthy, questionably damp warehouse. Luckily, someone didn't get the memo and decided the best way to hear top-shelf techno would be to rent a boat, sail around the Hudson, and blow out the 'woofers while watching a spectacular sunset over Manhattan's skyline. Up top, Berlin trio My My, whose Songs for the Gentle made them the toast of Playhouse Records last year, parcel out sophisticated clips, blips, trills, and twitters with the euphoric precision of scalpel-wielding disco dancers. Down below, NYC locals battle for supremacy as the Wolf+Lamb DJs face off with the Bunker's Derek Plaslaiko and Spinoza. (AB)
Note: Boarding begins at 3pm. Get there early, because the boat departs promptly at 4pm.
