Amnesia & DC-10 closed for the next 2 months

It sucks really bad, but after seeing that video from BBC (maybe a bit of anti-drug propaganda?) it seems many people are behaving really irresponsibly with their drug use/abuse in Ibiza.

It is totally possible to take a hell of a lot of drugs and still not get so messed up that you end up dead or in the hospital. At a certain point it's difficult to believe that it's "about the music" when folks can barely walk themselves home.
People should know their limits and take better care of their friends if they don't want authorities to feel they need to make a show of strength by closing venues, etc.

I think if they wouldn't sell water for 13 € and if people go out to get cheaper water they don't let them in again, there wouldn't die people every summer. my boyfriend was at ibiza 2005 an he told me there died three english guys few weeks before cause they dehydrated. that's a shame!

no offence, but i think nobody forces you to go to the clubs, if you don't afford to buy the water you need. and btw, in amnesia the water is 8 euro.
i think everybody should now their limits both financially and phisically.

Fuse club in Brussels has a free drinking fountain. Best idea ever.
Every club should have one.

Staying on topic, I couldn't care less that they're closed. I'm not really into Ibiza, never been there though.
But I think I prefer parties in empty warehouses. Nice and sleazy.

but we all know, on holidays, nobody wants to know their limits

its holiday, its not their country, loosing control about thinking of their everday life, becaue they are far away.

i think its not only on ibiza, its worldwide on all holiday locations with clubs.

and if people are willing to pay about 45-50 euros in the club, they dont care about the other prices.

but, thats ibiza (concentrating the biggest clubs and djs) and all people, coming to this place, knowing this...

UK law says that every bar, club and even pubs have to give water for free,
i hope it becomes the law in mainland europe soon
