Ive been having this problem for ages and as much as I love using Ableton it just doesnt have as good sound quality as Cubase or Logic, it drives you insane when you finish a track and it comes out with either litle bass or just a muddy noise.

When I was out on the weekend I spoke to Alex Smoke for a few minutes and asked him as I read he used Ableton he said that he does all his ideas in Ableton then Rewires to Logic or bounces down each track and puts them into Logic and thats how he gets his productions to sound crisp and clean. If its good enough for him then its good enough for me

so let me get this straight,

just the "render to disk" option that creates a muddy sound, but if you resample a track to another track or bounces a midi instrument to an audio file, the sound quality remains the same?
