Here's the fastest shortcut on earth to getting the swing you want on a beat:
step 1
get the sampler of your choice
step 2
load it up with a drum sample of your choice
step 3
hit record
step 4
play it with your hands on your keyboard
it's oldschool but if it ain't broke don't fix it
Shuffled beats
Live has a little number in the upper side next to "4 / 4" and changing that value should make the shuffle. but i find that option really shity ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Dont even bother thinking about twisting a knob to get shuffle.
Take some funk loops and examine where the drummer is putting the beat, and learn from this where to program your hits.
Press ALT in Live to disable the quantize.
You get more control of stuff. Its taken me years to figure out that lazyness wont get me anywhere.
