707/727 is a great cheap MIDI->DIN sync box, but won't convert MIDI to CV/gate.
holy crap you're right
for some reason i had a brain fart and read it too fast. You're right, i was thinking DIN-synch.
My bad

I almost got a Doepfer ms-404 for peanuts. Called a few hours too late. fck.
The bonus about it is that it does convert midi to cv-gate. You just might find one for not that much more than what a midi-cvgate box goes for.

...gnnnnnnn

Next time...

Edit: sh!t ...I really hate myself for waiting two days before calling. Christ what the fck was thinking. Being short of 200 canadian bucks is not a good reason for being so fucking slow.

i hear ya, it really sucks when you miss out on some really great deal.

kinda like that dude who sold his MINT 303 for $150 "buy it now" on ebay
read about it here

i ended up getting that one in my first post. new for $60 + $13 s&h on ebay. so if you know anyone else who needs a cheap converter, i would suggest those. it has 2 cv, & 2 gate outs. not bad, but no DINSYNC out.
