Never been there but it seems to be a great. Lady Waks, one of the leading dj's from Russia is playing there every year.

The only problem is that it's very far to get there.

One of the Kazantip tricks is that the line-up isn't announced. In the sense that you never know who's playing when apart from on the day they're playing. Might be worth giving a look to the myspace of the artists you want to see, just be aware that Kazantip is often referred as "Z".

As I said in a previous post, the videos on the web etc really don't give it justice. It's really a great place and i haven't seen that much sex happen, it's more of a marketing stunt. What i can confirm though is that the beach is awesome, the soundsystems of the different stages very decent, it's usually around 40C in the day and stays pretty warm during the night. You basically just end up partying all night and then spend the whole day on the beach every day. Did I mention the karting track that you can race on any time ?

. About getting there, it's not that much of a mission, but I do highly recommend going with someone who speaks russian. It'll help

few years ago I translated their website for them. Got a lot of footage too, looked amazing! The concept is so far "out there" that I can't imagien any other place where you'd be able to pull this off. A full month party, with own rules and run as an independent state... I mean, who thinks of this? The sex things probably do happen but more in a "staged" way, all the clips I ever saw had a bunch of cameras around it and mostly professional gear too, so porn industry and maffia tattoos galore.

Never played there unfortunately, but would do it in a heartbeat

I must say last time i went those who impressed me most were the russian djs. For those listening to deepmix.eu , you know what i'm talking about here. Plus nothing beats dancing in cyan waters with amazing music imo.
