2 technics

mixer with a fader set for stun

i do alot of cutting in and out of records and basically anything you can do on a turntable....

i hate cd decks...i didnt realize it until i noticed that it stunts my creativity after a few nights out

i really like mixing and matching melodies from other songs before i start the actual mix...and while im mixing going in between the songs and throwing the fader every which way just to make it more funky

i rarely do the clean and smooth transition mix...and if doing that...it means im having a horrible time...and im probably sucking

Think the best setup for me is

2x Pioneer cdj1000mk2s, xone 92, Serato and I expect the effects I want will always change as the music changes :D

2 numark ttx1's
1 axis 9 cd deck
xone92

i like to mix minimal like a turntablist, lots of 'in time' tastfull scratching. reversing both decks on the fly while in a mix. brake tricks, fader tricks, etc. etc.

i also do this thing were you lift the needle up with the lever just enough to have it keep skipping in time with the other record, then use the anti skate to adjust the skip area. it's pretty cool, you guys should try it.

1 DJM 800, 2 Technics MK 5's, 2 Vestax PDX 2000's (not used so much, sometimes 1 of them for a 3 deck mix) with my Soundbite too using Serato and normal vinyl. I like looping, building, remixing as best i can on the spot ;) doesnt always work btu i like to be busy
