gonna buy it saturday :D :D :D

haven't decided about sampler yet, 200 bucks... it's not that much money but, like operator, you can only use it with live which is a little drawback.

just paid for my upgrade yesterday!!!!! I was pretty happy with 5, it was doing everything I wanted it to do, and I mostly bought 6 because it actually uses the dual-core processors... indeed, the cpu load is significantely reduced on my laptop (which has a centrino duo T2300 processor)!!! so I was happy with that!!! and then, there seems to be tons of new little things and features that are very cool!

so yeah, live 6 seems to be worth the 99 euros upgrade if you have 5!

i paid the update saturday, but on my single core machine (pentium M 1.86, not that slow) the CPU usage is higher than with live 5, the set that was using 34% in live 5 is using 47% in live 6, i am disappointed with that, but since freezing seems to work better is not that bad. Fact is I'll need a dual core machine sooner than I thought.
The overall feeling is ok, but it has gone a bit more crypitc, like editing samples, deleting unused samples, blah blah.

how about promised improvements to the sound engine?
any changes?

also is the new saturator really that good?

i'm asking these questions mostly because all the previous versions sounded a bit flat/plastic.

still to early for me to comment on saturator 2 but I like the sound of the tube dynamic, for being a software plugin it does a good job, at least for me.
I haven't noticed any improvement in the sound engine, but I'm playing with it since one week only.

Saturator 2 is great, thanks to the waveshaper thing.

The sound engne is just as good as the one on other DAWS.
