loop question in live

i dont' think you can have a loop play every soo many bars..but you can trigger the sample once.
first, you have to turn the loop off in the sample, or else the it will stay looped.
second, set the follow action of said sample on the left to zero& no action...set the follow action on the right to play again and the numeric value will determine how many bars pass before the sample is triggered.
i'm sure there is another way or technique..but i use this all the time...real easy

check "unlinking clip envelopes"

you have a one bar clip

go to clip envelopes click the "unlink" button

set the number of bars to 4

silence 3 of the bars

you can have all these different automations effecting the same clip, and all the automations can be looping at different lenghts
