thanks for bringing that wonderful set back to my attention.
isnt it simply amazing how they do a whole live set with the same kick drum? thats the same way bruno does it for his live sets too...
when i heard it first i was like - no way they cant be doing the whole thing with one kickdrum throughout all the tracks... but then i thought about it and it actually makes sense. this is more live! its how a live band would sound for example - they have one drummer with one drumset right? also, its more 'live' because they have a certain structure of sound, and they can improvise and put different parts in and out and not worry that this particular part will not go with this kick-drum... it also helps to consolidate their sound, have their own kinda sound during the whole thing... i dont know any other artists that do live shows that way
