Last thing and back to topic:
If you're more or less new to all this, then do yourself a favor and keep it SIMPLE. Don't read too much about these things because
IMO it needs time to really grasp how things really work with each other. Experiment, play with it, teach yourself (with a few hints )

i don't have a drum bus either. reverb is my glue.

does anyone find the more minimal the track the more glue needed?

I can honestly say I have never thought about the glue when making music.
After reading this board for several years, I have come to the conclusion that people think a lot more then me when making music.

as in my case it inspires me when my loop sounds fat and groovin... You need to mixdown if you wanna accomplish that. So yeah most of the times i think about what i do and ill support my creativity

Interesting thread Guys.. Smiling at how many times Steevio said he was out & kept coming back..

Q. What kind of reverb would be best suited for the "glue"?

Room, Plate, Hall.. Obviously something with a really short decay time, yeah? :?

haha,
was just getting sick of being told what i should and shouldnt post in this thread, as long as ive got something to offer i'll keep posting.

for glue ; hall reverb, long decay time. ( thats not my advice, that comes courtesy of Lexicon)
i usually use a quarter note.

short decay times also glue. Too much hall will make your mix ... too much hall...

sor vary in lengths and sort's of verbs.
