I mean, sure, if you work on a track in 30 min sessions or something, you might need a few months, but my taste and knowledge would change so much in that time I would never finish the track or will create something totaly different out of it.
i didn't really choose to do it this way. it's just the way it went. actually in some ways it's worked really well. I've made developments that I wouldn't have made from working on new tracks all the time. But yeah, sometimes it's horrible getting that far into the same thing. but I don't think you can be in loads of control of these things. if it works that way for the track it works that way.
