I listen to a lot of various types of music but I guess if something is above the rest for me it`s gotta be Sonic Youth. Be it old or new stuff, SY are a band I´ve always appreciated.

And jazz is worth a listen as well. Miles, Coltrane, Lonnie Liston Smith, Freddie Hubbard, Monk, it`s all good.

Bubling under: Godspeed You Black Emperor, early Mogwai, His Hero Is Gone, Discharge, Minor Threat, Fugazi, Bardo Pond, My Bloody Valentine, Slint, Big Black.

i can never get enough of the rolling stones, who are (in my humble opinion) the best ever band. 'under my thumb' being up there with my favourite tracks.

can't get enough of the white stripes right now! yeah, i know meg is a really bad drummer, but that adds some weird spice to jacks guitar/vocal soup!
