i haven't really listened to them enough. I know that they are really more than inspirational in the industrial music scene (and beyond) but I've only really listned to '20 Jazz Funk Greats' in any detail. Chris and Cosey I think are worth some investigation as well too if my scoures are correct./ I should get around to verifying this.
well the throbbing gristle -> techno bridge is that genesis p. orridge claims he/she made the first real techno track, and now arch-nemesis fred gianelli, aka kooky scientist, who used to be in the band, claims its all his music and genesis did nothing except sing.
