I already think allot of stuff that people call minimal is just Dub Techno anyways.

that would be me, since the 90's I've used Dub Techno and Minimal interchangeably...

when folks came up with a term called ELECTRO HOUSE, I wanted to run...
there ain't nothing "electro" about that style of music, that sh!t makes me think of a cheap Tijuana nightclub

It blurs the lines between a couple genres. Its probably best described as broken beat dub techno. One of my favoritest finds ever.

After reading this thread, here are some albums, which are on my ipod atm, that could fall into the brokenbeat minimal category:

Kontext - Dissociate (check "Impossible Being", "Ocean in the Bathroom" or "Aeromonarch's Attack")

Niederflur - Bipolar (check "Integral", "Normalnull" or "Prisma")

ASC - Nothing is Certain (check "Opus", "Microsia" or "Midnight")


Of course not all the tracks on them will be broken beat minimal.
Or am I way off?
