Slightly ironic, but not just a joke. You miss the point that software is not only about 00001010011110101.... There are plenty of languages, formalisms, etc. above this lowest layer of representation - all possible forms of expression. Well I've worked for a outsourcing company as an Architectural Engineer, designing, drawing 2D and 3D plans and mockups for major civil projects here in Belgium. Next week I'm starting as a projectleader at a bureau that designs technical installations in commercial architecture (HVAC, Data, Elec,...) Only a kilometer from my door, what a luxury!
