I don't understand why that fellow caught so much flak for that comment.

I've seen a lot of big-name producers/DJs get extremely messed up on substances. They're only human after all.

What matters though is if they can seperate that recreational activity from their professional life.

I like Ricardo much better as a DJ than a producer. His tracks don't really do all that much for me, at least his recent ones. I'll be damned if the man can't throw down though.

mr. villalobos is one of my favourite dj's (maybe the first one...), but unfortunately i've never heard him playing.. so as gillsans said, "Enjoy every minute you can of Ricardo because I cant."

last saw him playing at panoramabar. it was great. i always enjoy hearing djs who aren't too clinical and just go with the feeling. i'd like to properly listen to his productions - so far they haven't really clicked with me. EasyLee was superb but very different from what he gets up to now.
