It works like a charm.
At first I wanted to buy an Apple because of the stability.
But in the end I bought a Dell Vostro 1400. Small, and has everything a Apple has too. 2gb ram, Core2Duo 2 ghz, 80 gb hd. That's enough for me.
I run XP, yes I know. I partitioned my hd into one for school and one for Traktor + Music. And every process within XP that is not useful, I turned off. I don't use the internet. Only for registering your Traktor
It's perfectioned for these goals.
The longest runtime is 7 hours without any glitch or crash. The Audio 8 is a good piece of hardware.
The only time I get glitches is when I have my tracks on a removable drive like an USB-stick. So make sure your tracks are on your hd.
Don't believe the hype. XP is good too.
