hell in this case it really sucks if people are putting wrong info on ads n stuff. When it's just the name of the mp3 in your music folder, doesn't really matter.

It means performing artist.

And it's a stupid ass term. The "PA" part is totally redundant. Just say live or DJ. And yes, people need to advertise correctly on event advertising.. people used to say "Plastikman live" all the time when Hawtin was DJing places and I remember reading letters and posts on the website all the time correcting people. It is important that the wrong expectations are not placed.

Same goes for labeling mp3s.

PA means Polish Accent. Nobody knows because we rarely sings in minimal techno acts.
