and you're probably biting off more than you want to chew.

nope, just know enough about all this to know that what you're asking is, potentially, a never-ending question with a billion-branching tree of answers.

Sorry now if you think I'm pushing this but even if I just want a few good examples?cloutier wrote:nope, just know enough about all this to know that what you're asking is, potentially, a never-ending question with a billion-branching tree of answers.
Is this just a case that people don't want to discuss their opinions on this openly or do you not have much interest in this particular part of the music? (ie. do you not think about it much?)
Maybe I could have got an answer to this if I asked it a different way?
again...you asked an esoteric question with no discernible answer. there's no finite solution to what you initially proposed, and therefor, the can of worms i posted basically sums it all up.

Here's what u do:
Go back to the first page where we listed some influential as well as innovative artists, find all the music u can by said artists listen to it, then build a time-machine, go back to the 90's, get into the techno scene, go to as many partys and clubs as u can, meet people and dj's, swap stories, mix-tapes, etc. then get back in your time-machine and come back here and start again

I've been very specific about what I'm looking for I think. Can you clarify what it is you don't understand?cloutier wrote:again...you asked an esoteric question with no discernible answer. there's no finite solution to what you initially proposed, and therefor, the can of worms i posted basically sums it all up.
