The dettman and appendics shuffle were good. As far as a lot of oldskool acts from the 90's like surgeon and octave it hasnt been an abundance

How was Akufen at the last one, I wanted to go but couldnt.

How was Akufen at the last one, I wanted to go but couldnt.

I saw Surgeon at Rubadub a few months ago and I wasn't into his new set up at all.

Just playing on Ableton with a faderfox controller.

Oh yea? Last time I seen him was in 2002 or 03@ a small ass place on Varick St. Dont remember the name, I think it was a # and not a name. He fucking ripped it. He used Final Scratch I believe. He killed that place. There was some hip-hop cats there cause they came on a wrong night or something, even they were fucking amazed.

The time before that he blew away Mills when he opened up for him in Twilo back in 99 or '00.

Maybe he'll be good, I dont know he mighta fell off, I know he's was on that Industrial kick for a while.

I never seen Octave, so...

I also really wanted to see Alka-Rex. I love their sound. Did u catch them? I havent heard them play together for a while. I caught edik a coupla times this year. Luv his style, he gets scientific with that sh!t. He's a good dude. Always happy. Did they record their sh!t? I'll check

no, not like the radio snipped stuff. not even close.

alka_rex was great. definitely beat that back room up proper.

and we record everything in both rooms, but 9/10 it never sees the light of day. they might have recorded themselves too though.
