Yeah, Eddie, a friend of mine wrote them after the link to the Metro Times article was posted on the 4four messageboard. The Ubercoolische articles were originally just posts on the board, which I found hillarious so I bought the ubercoolische.com domain and set up a quick site cos I didn't want to lose the posts.

I created the t-shirts and the mug as a joke, I didn't think for one second that anyone would buy one. Well, after a 6 months we've sold over £1000 worth of t-shirts and mugs, which has all gone to a music therapy charity. So some good has come out of this even if you didn't find it funny ;)

I got Magda in at The Egg here in London, because I was going to be playing alongside her on the same night at a different club in Nottingham, called Stealth. But at the time Stealth were having a bit of trouble getting people through the door, so they needed to cancel her. So to stop the club from having to pay a cancellation fee I booked her for The Egg, which worked out very nicely. Magda was totally cool about it, as you can probably gather from the photos from other clubs.

For anyone who's interested, the site has got 880,000 hits so far. Which was not what I expected at all when I set up the site.
