... but comparing Lustmord with some kinda soundtrack of a horror movie :?
Maybe the album he did with the Melvins but other than that i would never have drawn a comparrison to such trash ;)

BTW Goem 8)
Haven't heard this one. But forgot about the Fantomas cover album!
Besides, there's an absolutly blinding remix by Lustmord on The Night Passage compilation (on Dorobo if I remember correctly).

OPthers suggstions: Auch, Betrieb, Makes pigs pay by Carsten Jost, Generation Star Wars by Alec Empire, and the afx rmx of Mescalinum United - sounds like Merzbow lost on a dancefloor!

Goem kill every sound system if dropped at the right volum ;-)
I didn't even know about the Fantomas cover Album! Details please!!!

I saw Fantomas in Austraila not so long ago and they absoloutly killed it!
i'm not a fan of all Patton stuff but this gig is one of my highlights of the year so far!

Dave Lombardo on drums is a f'ing menace! i haven't listened to Slayer in over 10 years, and loved the drumming then. To see the dude live is a jaw dropping experience!

Will search out the AFX remix of Mescalinum United. I have a few Acardipane tracks but are pretty old and most definately on the hard techno side of things...

edit

lol! I've got the 2002 remix ;)

Hmm, Patton is a true hero of mine since the second Faith no More lp and his Adult Themes cd on Tzadik...

Anyway, about the Fantomas cover records: it's called the Director's Cut, and it rocks like hell. Some great covers of soundtracks, including highlights like Rosemary's Baby.

Yup, Acardipane is really on the hard side, though his lp on Tresor is possibly one of the best record in my collection.

Ever tryied the Caustic Windows alias of afx?

Finally had the chance to see it. Great track, great video.
Exactly the kind of thing that would drive me crazy on a dancefloor.
