that is already a givin... {?}

giving people the option to express themself is [much needed] for a postive world and a healthy tomorrow.

telling someone their sig is not to your taste or that (perhaps) even to project a thought that it shouldn't be allowed is an insult to creativity..

:!:

you never know how life can shift or create change...

you never know where these signs and people will come from..

nor how they or their message may reach you... I embrace them.

have a no sig option if needed.

on a small side note:

if you want to throw invisibile rocks.. let me know

I don't say i don't like your sig. It's just that it distracts from the topic. For example if you make more the one post on the same page we get to see that large picture over and over again.

On a side note, i don't think anyone wants to throw rocks here... I personally think the forum will be better readable without big pictures in the sigs. Now you don't have to remove your sig if you don't want to. We are just asking you..

peace...

When you have more professional forum software there is an option to not show sigs or avatars.

On Mnml.nl it's not the case.

who are you speaking on behalf of..when you say we..? haha...

I DO enjoy the soft gray layout of this board...

however I added a little color for a half second while I my thoughts were in translation...

:D

so your saying you want me to change something that inspiries me because it's an inconvenience for your viewing pleasure in a free public forum..?

hahahahhaahahahahahahahhaha

Yes that's right i'm asking you. I think i can also speak for the topic starter that's why I said we.

If someone is shouting in a public place and your asking him to be a little quiter is that rude? Remember i am just asking you i am not telling you.

Sorry I just don't like the way your laughing at me. I just asked it and you said no. so case closed.

if you knew me... I love to be silly.. and therefore the haha was not directed at you.

if adding color for a short time to a mostly black and white board is in comparison to shouting in public....that is not apples to apples...

if you for some reason feel this is shouting than we do not agree.

even tho gray is nice and easy on the eyes.. it also (perhaps) may not embrace any color at all for that matter.. .. perhaps it may make any color look unwelcome and until futher notice it may look like to you and kiwi an eye sore..

EDIT: I laugh at the world and myself all the time. so I apologize you felt I was laughing at you .. this was not the case..

guys, relax...
there's no need to quarrel over such an unimportant matter.
ok some sigs can be 'irritating', but i believe we could put up with them.
if someone gets distracted by them, com'on guys, we're not reading a scientific
journal or a masters' thesis here, it's just a music chit-chat forum.
as if we have to concentrate...
i believe so far the aesthetic balance of our forum is excellent, at least for the
whole 2 yrs i've been around. i think kiwi's post just aimed to preserve that
principle, not to force anyone to remove their picture sigs.

discussing such things in a SUBTLE manner is always the key.
it'd be wiser if both sides followed that path ;)
i can remember when the air was clean and sex was dirty.
