Generally go for
Magda - obvious but I think she is by far the best in the world bar none! She's my hero!
Miss Fitz - Only DJ that does this housey slow deep thing well. Mainly because all the other guys use the same tracks as each other.
Camea - Plays full on techno with other wierder funky stuff.
Matt John - Original, Funky, Wierd.
Hawtin vs Villalobos - Sets are always good.
Seth Troxler - Very good still has his style firmly in detroit!
Paco Osuna - very good
My rule of thumb is, go for north americans that now live in germany. These guys tend to be the most creative. Not saying other people are not, it's just my opinion, no offense intended.

i think that to say magda is the best dj in the world is crazy. i like her but shes not amazing. when i seen her at timewarp her mixing was the worst ive seen of any dj ever. nearly every mix was off beat. i mean anyone can get up and play good tunes. she really was terrible i dont know how she got away with it.
