I had for about 2 years Sony MDR-7506 .. they did the job quite well. but now i have the Sennheiser HD 25-13 for half an year and i'm 100% satisfied.

hd25s are the sh!t, you can't really go wrong with them.

I've just got the HD25 SP (the cheapo version of HD25's) and they are working really nicely, as my last ones were Behringer HPX4000 and they broke in like 2 months..

The bad sides of HD25 SP's are that they don't have the up and down axle in them so it's harder to have it on your right or left ear only when cueing and that they have the wires coming out of both sides, so when you get really into beat mixing/juggling some record you're in a choking danger! :lol:

a few years ago i had this question and my friends convinced me to get the HD25s. they were right.

HD25s. I had Sonys before but they broke and now I have HD25s and I ain´t going back to Sony anymore.

HD25s are lightweight, they damp outside noise well, sound great and you can get spare parts.

Anyone tried the Sennheiser HD 280 PRO? I need a new pair of headphones now that my sony's finally ripped apart and im definitely not buying another pair of Sonys...
