I think if you (remember) it...... well then the (marketing) was effective..

having the message apply.. well that is personal choice..

I didn't know it did this to my brain!!
hahahahaha..

well at least it's getting more creative as times goes on..

it's much better than.................I LEARNED IT FROM WATCHING YOU OK.... commercials they ran for years..

i'm sure this is NOT going to make someone STOP... but it may make a few stop and think.... if nothing else... it's a unqiue commerical which is more than I can say for 97% of them.. or get someone (for a moment) to think in a different light..

If people want to do something about drug use then try spending the money on targeting poverty in your area and getting people off smack/crack/legal drug abuse, giving young people things to do or improving employment.

Clubbers/social users are not the ones who need help as the majority are educated people hold down a job and know exactly what they are doing and what it is doing to them they normally use between the ages of 18-35 then get bored of it settle down and become normaly citizens. I think all these massive campaigns are old news and dont scare anyone.

sorry if I sound a bit harsh theres no bad inetention and good luck with the campaign anyway.

i think i saw this spot some years ago on mtv.
those campaigns do not try to reach already active drug users, as they often know, what they are doing with their braincells.
i'm sure, it's for the average not-so-grown-up-and-well-educated kids, or in other words: prevention.

wow, the toilet is pletty clean...
coffee makes you happy... except when it messes you up.

whatever wrote:i find the video stupid. the campaign is made by someone who never tried anything ever. wrong message sent in a terrifiant ( for some) kind of way
What's wrong in the message? That there's harm in drug use? Wake up, kid!

Btw I like the spot. And I like splatter movies.

lol! i totally agree.
but trauma is extremely effective... its how they deal with people with DUI's...
put them in a mandatory class and make them watch car crash victim videos.
