It's all just part of it.Thomas D and Jack Thomas wrote:No beef here. Aside from the drugs thing, my comment was mostly positive and taking the piss about it all.
the MINIMAL backlash
getting caught up in fashion trends is pretty lame,
i'd rather do:
diy fashion
rebel fashion
cutting labels off clothes
your own fashion.
function over form
fck what people think, as long as you think you look cool.
dont get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with fine fabrics, and nicely made clothes, but $300 for some "trendy designer t-shirt" is about the worst waste of time, thought and money i can think of.
i also think neck scarves are lauhgable, especially being so tied to the minimal scene...i mean wtf, it's akin to fairy wings and candy kids.
the scene for me is mostly about being a raver in the dark, working out frustration in you're life by dancing and enjoying the future of music. sure there is a big social aspect to mdma and big parties, but those drug induced one-on-one relationships always seem cheap and sad in a way. it's more about the true heads all vibing together, feeding off each other as a whole, that makes this thing work, at least for me.

It's starting to die down a little, but there are still plenty of guys jumping down 15+ stairs dressed just like this.
