it's easy, go to a site like www.killerkiwi.net for instance, find a layout you like. then copy the complete layout-code as it is given in your 'about me' section. When saved you should see your page with a new lay-out.

There are more sites killerkiwi.net but I can't think of any right now. Just search through people's spaces and you will find links to them! good luck.
