Alright, so here it is:

http://www.mnml.nl/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=43812

My mix:
http://soundcloud.com/suli-belarto/vert ... ulibelarto

he basically mixes into track nine, hence the reason he is reluctant to post a tracklist is because, I doubt he even knows.

9. ESSE, Luciano/TONI D: Liberacion EP (Safari Electronique)
10. GORJI, Nima/EINZELKIND: I Got Something (Love Letters From Oslo Germany)
11. SCHWARTZ, Damian: Salson (Raum Musik Germany)
12. BECK, Gary: Consumed (Edit Select) <- another irony is that I listed this incorrectly and he provided this as the name of track used LOL
13. DJ Q: Superclique (NRK Sound Division)

you want us to come up with a new name for this type of thing? its not really new.

there was one real well known producer from my home town and at a house party about 6 years ago he "mixed" three tracks into each other in such a familiar way that i asked one of my mates why the sounded so familiar and he told me it was some mix that was released on vinyl. and he was doing the whole listening to the headphones and cueing up a vinyl thing during the "mix"

anyway, please, what do i have to do to get a link to the thread. even pm would be enough to stop the cravings.

do you have a pay pal?

I also feel there is an innate difference, in terms of intent behind the material that is being produced. Your example is that of a mixed record that was produced with the intent and purpose of other Dj's playing it out on the other hand when people post mixes or live sets they are not intending for other Dj's to use in there sets.

yes, perhaps you are right about the intention, i don't know. they are both a bit nasty.

this dj technique is called "i'm to lazy to do a full mix so i'll steal half of someone else's".

i think it's called "i want to be famous without doing any of the hard stuff."

the "hard stuff" being finding music, beatmatching, or putting effort in.

you're right, looks like he did steal that part from your set... but why? the whole cutting/pasting thing seems like it would be a lot more work instead of just mixing tracks you actually own..

he comes in around 1994 and leaves around 2002.
