take a listen for yourself... i've only heard the 303 sound. i've never touched a real 303. you tell me. i just installed a key roland chip to make it sound more authentic. the audio is pre installation.

sorry, was the chip an extra? or did it come with the package?

naw. the chip is extra, they are on ebay all the time. $25- $40 bucks.

Have you noticed a difference with the roland vca chip?

I've heard it's not really worth it, afterall it's only in the amplifier section and the vca chip you get with the kit is just an updated version of the roland chip.
