because it boils down music into its essential elements. more attention is spent on sound design, beat structure, progression. no fluff is used to hide imperfections, theres no room to hide mistakes or less then stellar elements.
its a gateway that allows for appreciation of nuances and details. it bolsters a certain level of attention on the part of the listener.
it makes sense in my minimalist lifestyle. less waste, more attention to what you have, its functions, multi-functionability. better design and efficiency.
it reminds me of endless nights in detroit.
